Bugaboo Buffalo Review
Hi, I’m Niobe, mummy of Sebastian and Prams.com.au official road tester of all things prams. I had the pleasure of taking the Bugaboo Buffalo through it’s paces in St Kilda – Melbourne this week and found the things I love about the Bugaboo Buffalo are many! Check out the video of me taking the Buffalo through it’s paces.

Here is my overview:
Performance – The Bugaboo Buffalo handled the beach paths like they were paved…I found the all-terrain & two wheel function a plus at the beach and was able to put in and out of this mode with ease.
Storage – The storage on the Bugaboo Buffalo pram is amazing! Very accessible under basket which stored my bags with ease and I loved the bag hooks on the handle – no more pram tips!
Extendable handle bar – The handle bar extends quite far which is fantastic for me, being 178cm & long striding.
Canopy – The sun canopy has really good coverage until you unzip the third panel – and then it is amazing! It almost completely covers your little one – very handy for sun, wind or rain!
Easy Fold – I found the Buffalo very easy to fold and unfold from the car, in fact all the mechanics are quite straight forward.
Cons– the Buffalo is a little heavy at 12 kgs. And with the long & wide handle bar it does feel like a large pram (whilst not necessarily being so). When folded in one, it’s not very compact and takes up a lot of room in the car however, the plus is you can remove the seat and place on top of the pram base and for a more compact unit – remove the wheels.
Recommendation – if you are looking for a true all terrain pram then I don’t think the cons would weigh too heavily on your decision as the advantages are many & varied. I do believe the Bugaboo Buffalo is a really good, solid pram that will last you a long time & take you a long way.
