Umbrella Strollers
Umbrella prams
Umbrella strollers feature two handles instead of a single pushbar, and fold along a vertical axis. They are not suggested as an appropriate option for newborns, as they don’t feature a fully-reclining seat and other support mechanisms required for a newborn’s head and neck.

Rather, umbrella prams are often suggested as a second stroller for a toddler, as they are lightweight and easy to fold and store. For this reason, they work well as an ‘extra’ to keep in the car, for example.
