I am really pleased with my purchase and find the Alta the perfect compromise between a lightweight pram and an all-equipped, overly wide and heavy standard size pram. While the Alta still falls in the standard size pram category, it only weighs 9.5 kilo and is only 22” wide. However, its rubber coated, foam filled tires with 4-wheel suspension offer a smooth ride, even over bumps, grass, and gravel, and the huge basket on this pram can hold more than the baskets on many of the larger prams in its class. You’ll have no problem fitting your large nappy bag and then some in this pram basket!
The Alta pram is very lightweight and super easy to fold, and it is even easy to carry while folded and lift into the boot of the car. I am thrilled with the reversible pram seat that allows my baby to face me or face the world and reversing the seat is very easy to do. The seat has 5 recline positions, including completely upright and fully flat—exactly the way a pram seat should be designed. I don’t know why so many pram designers neglect to include a fully upright pram seat! The pram is also easy to push and steer and the canopy offers great sun protection including an extendable sun visor with 50 spf UV protection.
The pram brakes are thong (flip flop) friendly— no ruining that pedicure.
