Of the two types of twin strollers, tandems fold to a more compact size and are slender enough to fit easily through doorways and supermarket isles. Side-by-side double strollers seat children next to each other. Of the two types of double strollers, side-by-side models maneuver over curbs more easily but side-by-side twin strollers will always be difficult to maneuver through small, crowded areas.
