Q:’ I am pregnant with my second child due in 4months, I have a 20 month old son who has recently been diagnosed with severe allergies. I can’t help but be worried about my new baby being the same – my pram question is in regards to buying a double pram, do you think I should buy a side by side double pram rather than a tandem one – I am worried that a baby in the lower part of the pram will breathe in more dust and dirt and be more susceptible to allergies – Has anyone had a great double pram for a toddler and a newborn, I would really appreciate your advice?”

i 100% wuld go withthe city mini double pram they are fantastic, i had a phil and teds and a steelcraft strider plus and got rid of both of them, not only are the breathig in dust when my son hit 5-6 months he wanted to look around and he couldnt do it in the bottom of the prams so he was gettring really frustrated and started to hate the pram. since getting the city mini he has been fine 🙂
Hi – I would definitely choose a side by side pram, I agree with you having a baby down that low would have them breathing in car fumes and dirt – I also have a 2 year old with allergies (it’s not easy and very scary) and am a couple of weeks pregnant with my second baby so I would love to read about side by side pram recommendations from other mums – Thanks, this is a great site, I’m so glad I found it 🙂
